Breaking Bad: Season two starts on Sunday, Mar. 8, at 10 p.m. (9 p.m. CST) on AMC. I know that Jeremy at Chemistry Blog posted about this last week, but my DVR's guide didn't have the show listed yet. Now it does, so here's a reminder to tune in!
For those not familiar with the show, it's an Emmy award-winning series about a high school chemistry teacher who finds out he has inoperable lung cancer and turns to making methamphetamine to pay for his treatment and provide for his family. It's rather graphic and violent--frankly, it's not a show I would normally like--but it's got great writing, terrific acting, lots of humor, and compelling character development. I reviewed the show last spring if you want to learn more and it looks like AMC is running a marathon of first season episodes starting Friday evening if you want to catch up.
