Caught On Camera

As I pack my bags and prepare to go home, I am reflecting on all the things I saw during this national meeting. Here are a few things that stick in my mind:

This artwork, displayed in the registration hall, reminded me of the never-ending possibilities of chemistry.

On Sunday morning, I spotted George Whitesides getting his morning coffee at Starbucks. Everyone needs a little caffeine to wake up!

These two undergrads danced up a storm after the student affiliates award ceremony on Sunday evening. They look so happy together!

The Louisiana Section handed out Mardi Gras beads to enthusiastic meeting-goers.

A ton of preparation goes into a meeting like this. These folks were hard at work in the kitchen at the Marriott preparing for the Women Chemists Committee luncheon on Tuesday.
